You Meet The Nicest People
A visual research project about the world’s best selling vehicle, theHonda Super Cub. In an attempt to understand this machine and how it liberated the masses, I have been collecting material such as manuals, parts, advertisements, photos, type, colour and pattern.
I approach this collection as a graphic designer, but also as a sort of mechanic. Deconstructing and reconstructing my material into new forms. The project has taken form so far, as three hand-bound books, several prints and posters, as well as a website documenting the project.
Exhibited as part of the Academy Minerva Graduation
show in June (2022).
